Hi Mom and family,
I had a good flight home on Sunday, slept all the way to Portland and had an empty seat beside me from Portland to Phoenix.
In the three days I've been home, the fatigue issue seems a little lighter each day.
A long busy day Monday: out to the Renaissance Festival "Bizarre Bazaar" to attend a music jam and also see my glassblower friends daughter Gena, who is here for a couple of weeks. She lives now in Cambridge, England with her English fianceé Archie. During part of her visit she and her mom are attending a wedding in California.
Then I met my friend Laure at the bank to lend her some money for the down payment on a car, as her truck just went bust. She is the one who must drive every afternoon to Phoenix to do interning hours, counseling.
Except for a brief nap at home, the rest of the afternoon was filled up also. I had to go make copies for the drama club, bought some takeout at "El Guero" the Mexican butcher and deli, and (after my nap) it was up to the Boys & Girls Club to do the drama club.
Sometime in that long day I lost my camera! I hope that I left it at the booth where we had the music jam...and that the guy who owns the booth finds it and puts it up. Maybe this is a "sign" that I need to get comfortable with taking photos on my phone.
Tuesday I had to go out to the Renaissance Festival again because it was Students' Day (Elementary Grades). I took tickets for two hours and helped count them for three hours.
In the evening I started clearing out the cluttered mess in our guest room. I got the Christmas decoration boxes put back up there. I took out my old protest signs and took photos with them with my phone, because I want to use them to illustrate the "Conscience" page of ghc-ghc-ghc.com, and once everything is put back in the closet I won't be able to get to them.
So, yes I do know how to take photos with my phone. What I can't seem to do successfully is to send those photos to the computer.
This morning I did some yard work in the morning. I finally raked up all of the piles of cactus pieces which have been sitting in the driveway for months, and put them on the flat-bed trailer which Dale Sr. brought over to put all of the pizza oven waste on.
This afternoon I drove to Tempe for my Arabic lesson, and then to the Boys & Girls Club for the older kids' rehearsal. I only had three of the six girls in the scene, but they were three really good ones, so we had a good rehearsal. They are catching on fast.
Love,
Lennie
